Over the years there has been huge competition in the programming industry to come up with a language that is easy, requires less manpower and can be learnt quickly. At around 1991 python as a programming language was introduced and the use of it started speeding up when people realised it is quick and easy to use. Over time even big companies started to use python as the most important programming language in the industry. For both new and old users python has been at ease.

Nowadays every other company is using modern age digital tools to run the empires. These companies always make sure that their resources are minimal and output is maximised. With all these advancements companies that provide programming language are trying to come up with better and better version of the existing ones. Python has been a continuously active and growing language with advancements in the programming to optimise the language. Python has also been proven to be all rounder and versatile. Google started using python in the early age due to its simple nature and relatively easier adaptation. Now google uses python for almost all its operations. An employee at the IT firm also said that googles very first Google’s very first web-crawling spider was first written in Java 1.0 and was so difficult that they rewrote it into Python.


Facebook as the first ever social media application that stirred up the competition and rose to the top always used python and helped it to evolve significantly and is also a reason for pythons success in this generation. Facebook uses many Python packages in several areas, such as:

Instagram is considered to be the largest user of Django yet, it started using this framework due to its simplicity. It has also been seen that developers at Instagram prefer python over other languages as their core language. It also make a switch to higher level python in a matter of few months which tells us that it is a very impressive language.


Quora has marked its place in the industry by answering answers to random questions from people. It answers hundreds of questions and hundreds of types of questions for people. Quora started using python dude it easy way to use, efficiency and speed. It uses the framework called Tornado, Pypy and many other python libraries. Python has also proven to be user friendly and efficient for development with better code readability.


The very popular video streaming and entertainment application that has been support for many entertainment stages also uses python as its core language. Right from the start netflix has been very open about how they use python and its libraries. The application of python is seen in almost all sectors of netflix including security, alerts, data analysis. Etc. Looking at the popularity python has been receiving its pretty obvious how many more multi media and multi national companies use python. And learning python will not only open doors career wise but it’s also a fun computer language to learn.
